Apply for Birth Certificate at: https://indiancitizenshiponline.nic.in/
Submit the application with following documents:

    • Application Form (Parents Signature must be uploaded/Photo must be uploaded)
    • Applicant Local(Sri Lankan) Birth Certificate (Sinhala/English Translated/ Attested from Ministry of foreign affairs) Original & Copy
    • Copy of the Marriage Certificate of parents (English Translated/ Attested from Ministry of foreign affairs)
    • Passport copies of Parents
    • Copy of NIC (If parent is a Sri Lankan)
    • No objection letter from parents
      If parents or one of the parents live in abroad should be submit living country’s Indian High Commission attested No objection letter
    • Copies of resident visa of parents
    • Request letter from the parents
